Given my last name and what I did yesterday, I thought this was appropriate and amusing.
And yes, that means that, barring something near miraculous, we're done with the baby making.

A Few From February
Happy Thanksgiving Day or Columbus Day, depending on where you are sitting as you read this. In my ongoing quest to catch up on some old photos, here's the latest installment: three photos that I liked from February.
This first one was from my birthday. I think it's a great one of me, Lucas, and his faux hawk. Please note that I am not 40. The extra 2 candles on the cake indicate that I am 40 + 2. Sigh...
I'm not sure exactly what is going on here, but Lucas is looking cute in my Falcons hoodie. Believe it or not, I haven't burned that thing yet, given the woeful state of the Falcons this season.
Mr. Cool (note the shades) at his first dentist visit.

Miscellaneous
Some news tidbits then a few random pictures from early 2013.
One afternoon, I made some "goo" for Lucas to play with. Basically just water, cornstarch, and food coloring. As simple as it sounds, it kept him entertained for over an hour. If you try it, be sure to put down newspaper since it is messy!
I took this photo of Lucas after he woke at 2:30 AM to pee. Hence, the dazed look.
Darth Soldier!
It would appear Lucas's old cow costume from when he was 2 or 3 doesn't fit like it once did.
- Hockey is going very well. Lucas is still enjoying it with no complaints, which is in contrast to how we had to drag him to martial arts. We've signed him up for a 5 or 6 week long program to work on his skating and hockey skills, beyond what he's learning in regular practices. That starts next Tuesday.
- I got the stitches out of my toe about an hour ago. That whole process went smoothly. Other than being confined to bed with my foot elevated the first 2 1/2 days, it didn't really affect me too much.
- Finally, my accounting midterm exam went well. I don't know my exact grade yet, but the instructor sent an email out this week to 8 of us, letting us know that we all scored over 80%.
And now, the shiny stuff (a.k.a. pictures from February and March). First up, a picture of me, my mom, and Lucas. I included this one since Lucas's face in it amuses me.
