Labrador Trip, Part 1

I'm sure you'll all be heartbroken to know that Lucas didn't make the top 50 finalists in the Cutest Baby contest on the local TV station. I was a little skeptical of his chances during the week, as they showed pictures on the show of babies who presumably made the cut. Some of them were indeed cute, but many had faces that, as they say, only a mother could love. So I'm pretty sure the whole thing is pretty much random, as far as the photo choices. Oh well, somehow we'll find a way to go on. It's hard to take too much umbrage from a TV station that proclaims its morning show is the #1 rated morning show in Ottawa when there is a grand total of 2 Ottawa morning shows. Way to go, A Channel!

Anyway, enough about the inbreds downtown. You're here for the pictures that should have been here yesterday, right? Well, without any further adieu, here you go. Not much in the way of comments since I wasn't there and don't know what's going on in most of them.

Day 2 (March 23)

I think it was a misunderstanding, but Poppy (Marilu's dad) bought Lucas a stuffed cat that came in a purse. They then saw fit to take a picture of the poor guy wearing the purse. I'd rather see him with a cigarette in his mouth. :)


March 24

Lucas has become far more vocal as of late. As a result, he screams quite a bit, not because he's angry or sad, but just because he likes making noise, presumably. Here you see him in full roar.


I'm not sure what he's doing here, but it amuses me so there you go.
